There is an author named Susan Sontag who wrote that to be a good writer (and I would argue, a great anything), you need to be four people: The Nut, The Moron, The Stylist and The Critic.

“A great writer has all four. But you can still be a good writer with only one and two — they’re the most important”

I try every day to at least be a nut and a moron.

Corvette + Animal Crossing Chevrolet





In March 2020, Nintendo released Animal Crossing New Horizons, and due to the pandemic, it became the biggest single game launch in Nintendo Switch history. As an added bonus, the game was open to brand engagement without a formal partnership. Always looking for ways to insert our brand into popular conversation, we quickly created and released a series of Corvette-themed items for players to download and add to their virtual worlds. The items were made available via Pinterest, the most popular place for Animal Crossing content to be posted and discovered. As the first automotive brand to utilize the Animal Crossing platform, we received a number of earned media coverage crediting our team with creativity and the nimble pace required to create the items and the content.
